Our Journey Through Time

1926

Rishi Valley School is founded by Jiddu Krishnamurti with a vision to create a new kind of educational institution.

1952

The school moves to its current 350-acre campus in the rural valley of Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh.

1975

Introduction of the ICSE curriculum, establishing academic rigor alongside holistic development programs.

Yes, Rishi Valley is primarily a residential school with separate boarding houses for boys and girls from Grade 4 onwards. Our boarding program is designed to foster independence, responsibility, and community living in a safe, nurturing environment.

We follow a balanced approach to technology. While we have well-equipped computer labs and digital resources for research and learning, we intentionally limit screen time to encourage direct engagement with nature, books, and interpersonal interactions, especially for younger students.

Campus Achieves 100% Solar Energy

October 15, 2023

Rishi Valley School has completed its transition to 100% solar-powered electricity, with the installation of additional solar panels across campus buildings. This initiative reduces our carbon footprint by approximately 200 tons annually.

ISC Topper 2023: 98.6% in Science Stream

August 5, 2023

Rishi Valley student Aravind K. achieved the highest score in the ISC examinations in Andhra Pradesh with 98.6% in the Science stream. 12 students scored above 95% in the 2023 board examinations.
